Our itinerary: Visit Mallorca for the first time. 

We propose an unforgettable route to make the most of your time on the island:

– Firstly we pick you up early in the morning (around 9:00) at the cruise ship, airport or accommodation (Palma area).

– Then we head towards the village of Valldemossa (20-25 min drive). On the way, you will contemplate a landscape of almond trees, carob trees, olive trees and rolling hills.
– Once we arrive in Valldemossa, we start a walking route of about 1 hour to discover the beautiful alleys and picturesque facades that adorn the charming village. We will cross the gardens of the Charterhouse and learn about the importance of this enclave for more than 7 centuries, when it became the palace of King Sancho and its subsequent transformation into the Charterhouse of Valldemossa granted to the Order of St. Bruno. 

After many centuries in the hands of the Carthusian monks, from the 19th century onwards it fell into private hands and was adapted as rooms to rent out to new guests: artists of all kinds from all over the world, including Fréderic Chopin and Aurora Dupin, known as George Sand, stayed in this building, which was so important for the life of the village of Valldemossa.

Next we will walk around and enjoy the collection of ceramics in every corner, doorway, house and business in the village, dedicated to a very special and beloved person in Mallorcan culture: Santa Catalina Thomàs.

A few metres away is the parish church of Sant Bartomeu with its majestic bell tower, twin of the Charterhouse. If you feel like it, at some point during the visit, it is essential to try a delicious Coca de Patata!

Afterwards, we return to the road and make a panoramic stop (no more than 15 minutes) at Sa Foradada. Unique views of the northern part of the island.

Discover the old town of Palma and the Cathedral of Mallorca.

We arrive in Palma and stop at the foot of the cathedral. We start our walking route through the old town of Palma where every corner tells a story and every stone whispers legends of the past. We will enter the Cathedral of the Sea or La Seu de Mallorca, avoiding the queues thanks to our accredited guides.

We will show you the charms of this Gothic jewel of unique proportions and a privileged location just a few metres from the sea. You will learn more about the phases of construction, the importance of light and the unique renovation by the famous architect Antoni Gaudí.  

Finally, depending on how much time we have left, we can continue to wander Palma’s alleyways to find the majestic Mallorcan patios of the old island nobility that continue to captivate the intrepid curious.
