This recipe was first documented nearly 18th century by the Mallorquin friar Jauma Josep Bernat Mart\u00ed i Oliver.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">In Mallorca you can find a special bread \u00abbrown bread\u00bb is mainly characterised by three things: without salt, to have bread crumbs and uncut. The main ingredients of the Pa amb oli are the brown bread and \u201cramallet\u201d tomato.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The \u201ctom\u00e0tiga de ramallet\u201d is a small tomato with hard and dry skin. This tomato is bitter and salty (that\u2019s why some people don\u2019t add salt).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The brown bread prepares with special flour that makes a dark colour. The wheat flour called Xeixa is called old wheat (in Mallorquin \u201cblat antic\u201d).
